Experience and qualifications

Hannah Mather PhD, FRSA

ICF and EMCC Accredited Career, Leadership, and Team Coach. PhD in Theology and Mental Health Trained. Based on the Black Isle, Scotland.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I am a professionally trained and accredited career, leadership and team coach with experience working alongside senior leadership, middle managers, and those already established in their early career. I live on the Black Isle, Scotland, and am committed to investing in Scotland, its land, and its wonderful people.

What you might expect from me: Considered, compassionate, and person-centred in style, with a focus on context, long-term strategy, and creative vision. I try to always work with my clients in ways they ask for and need.

Experience & ethos: 20+ years of people, organisational, and community development experience in a range of roles and business sectors including higher education and marketing communications. Sensitive to the concerns typically held by different demographic groups (social, cultural, religious etc.).

Returned to full-time study ten years into career to pursue learning to PhD level. Sacrificed short-term career gain believing that this was the better long-term plan. Gained perseverance, resilience, and ability to reflect and evaluate at a highly trained relational and integrative level.

Trained skills & achievements: Team coach trained in "complex adaptive systems." PhD in theology (interpretation). Counselling and mental health awareness training. Published award-winning author (a peer-recognised award for The Interpreting Spirit, the book version of my PhD).

Interests: Keen half marathon runner (I love the Hebridean ones especially). Passionate about doing my bit to build community in my local area.

Core values: Integrity, Human Worth, Insight & Strategy, Community.
